Here's what Adrienne wrote to us:

"YES. Indeed!

"I won the gold medal, bouquet and national jersey!I won the disabled women's crit LC 2 category at Nationals on my fabulous WATERFORD 1200! Yay! great course, cool rain, excellent bike-and good rider! So now you can put stars n stripes on your frame graphics!"

This is Adrienne's second National Championship on here Waterford! It continues a long history of racing for Ardrienne starting back in Illinois in the late 70's. After moving to Louisiana Adrienne began to dominate the local race scene in the early 80's before settling into Georgia. Injuries from accidents in 1984 and 1997 couldn't stop her.

Now licenced as a USCF Cat 3 disabled category LC2, Adrienne won her age group at the Georgia District championships in 1999 taking on all comers, disabled or not. When not riding, Adriennne teaches middle school, gardens, shoots photography and builds wheels.

We're proud to have Adrienne riding a Waterford. Best of luck in the new millenium!
