Every year, Freddie Hoffman conducts a fundraising ride on behalf of some pretty important charities - for him and for us - the Leukemia / Lymphoma Society and the Alzheimer's Foundation. This ride will raise over $100,000 for these worthy causes.
This year, Freddie's heading south and plans from his home in northern New Jersay all the way to West Palm beach. We caught up with him while he was visiting on of our favorite shops - Revolution Cycles in Clarendon, Virgina.
In spite of the headwinds and 100 degree heat, Freddie typically covers 100 miles a day, stopping to help raise awareness for these causes. During this ride, Freddie will meet with three governors (South Carolina, Georgia and Florida) as well as the media in several cities.
