Whether new or used, you can register your Waterford or Gunnar. Though registration does not change your warranty rights, it offers several benefits:
It's a good place to document your connection with your bike. Occasionally, we have people whose bike was stolen, looking for their serial number. This can be handy with recovery and even insurance claims.
Find out more about your bike. We've stored data on nearly every Waterford, Gunnar and other bikes we've built at our factory. For frames after 2005 (and many from between 2003 and 2005), we store many technical details about your bike, including dimensions and specs.
You can list stolen frame serial numbers. We get a number of requests for finding the history on used bikes, so if it's hot, we can help find it.
Note, registering your bike is different from joining either the Waterford or Gunnar Forum. There's a link to the forum login from the new user page.
We attempt to match up your serial number with the original order, which is how we can find the original records. Tips on entry:
After confirming the email, log in to register your frame.
Use "Update your profile" to provide us info on yourself to help us serve you.
When registering your bike, there should be no spaces in the serial number, ever if there's a space between letters/numbers on your bottom bracket.
Don't forget to describe the bike (model/size etc.) and from whom you got it. If there's any confusion about the serial number, we use this info to locate the exact record on the frame.
If, after you save the registration info, it says "Pending", you've entered a serial number we have on file. We then check it out before approving the application. This helps us make sure that we find the right record.
