Travel & Events
Your Waterford is more than just the hardware. It’s about the amazing experiences you can enjoy with it. For those with wanderlust, Waterford offers opportunities to enjoy your Waterford in some of the most memorable places on earth.
This past summer, we joined Santana Tours for a bicycle journey down the Danube River, on a luxurious cruise ship. The tour started with a pre-tour of Prague in the Czech republic. Then we boarded the luxurious Amadeus Elegant for a one week tour from Passau, Germany to Budapest, Hungary. This tour combines the luxury of the finest river ships, staff and cuisine with bike friendliness unmatched unmatched by other tour companies. The cycling was terrific, but the trip included much more than that, including a number side trips to castles, churches, abbeys, palaces and even an urban tour of Budapest! 2013 Provence and Burgundy Bike Tour
Next year, we join Santana again, heading to the south of France touring the Saone and Rhone Rivers with optional pre-tour in Geneva, Switzerland and optional post tour visit to Paris to toast the finale of the 100th Tour de France! After two days in Geneva, acclimating to the new time zone, we’ll meet up with another modern, luxurious cruise ship for a tour down the Saone and Rhone rivers through Provence with visits to Lyon, Avignon, Mount Ventoux and the French Riviera. 2012 Factory Ride Series
For over a dozen years we’ve been running monthly rides every summer in conjunction with local clubs. Ride starts with optional factory tours, followed by ride around some of the delightful cycling in the midwest. Waterford is fortunate to have excellent cycling roads in all directions. We provide limited SAG wagon support and this year have added a cookout to finish off the day.
Saturday, October 6, we have our final ride of the year, where we travel to the Kettle Morraine district along some newly paved highways. The Fall colors will be in full swing and the company will be great, thanks to our friends at the Wheeling Wheelmen Bike Club. Helmets and liability waiver are required but there’s no charge for the ride. For more information . . . |
