Buying / Selling a Waterford
|
How can I sell my Waterford?
|
Waterfords are specialty products that will appeal to a discriminating buyer group. Beyond your circle of friends who might want your bike, we've found a number of options:
- E-Bay: Ebay gives your bike national exposure which can helpful if you live away from big metropolitan areas. There is a good possibility that you'll need to box up and ship your bike to get it to a customer, and that can create it's own hassles.
- Craigslist: Craigslist is not just one site, it's a collection of sites organized by city or state. If you have a city or state with a lot of people and potential customers. You don't get the national exposure, but typically you don't have to worry about shipping.
- The Pro's Closet: You can check with them to see if they are interested in your bike. They are selective, so don't be surprised if they don't have an interest.
- Your local bike shop: You're local shop may take in on consignment. They are more likely to do so if your bike is in good condition. They can also, for a fee, box up and ship your bike to a distant location
if you sell through ebay.
