How does Waterford perform factory fittings?
|
When you get a full fitting session at the Waterford factory, plan on 1-2 hours.
- We start by taking Fit Kit measurements using the quick fit system. Click here for more information on this method. This gives us one of two key starting points.
- If you bring your bike, we also measure it. This gives us a window into your actual riding habits. We also interview you as to how well your existing bike works for you.
- Now it's time to set up our fitting machine based on the information we've collected. While sitting on the fitting machine, we check key body relationships, such as your knee position relative to the pedals and your elbows.
- Then you ride on the fitting machine. We make adjustments until you feel comfortable.
- Once we find that comfortable spot, we record the details plus, if the purchase of a Waterford is iminent, we help you decide on colors and other frame details.
We're proud of our fitting protocol. We're also confident in the ability of our dealers to perform a professional fitting, though there is a fair amount of variation in the method of fitting.
